Who We Are...
Cleveland County Partnership for Children started in 1993 as one of North Carolina's first 12 Smart Start Partnerships. We are a non-profit 501 c 3 that promotes school readiness by planning and funding programs that help our young children arrive at Kindergarten ready for school success. We form collaborative partnerships with families, child care providers, schools, businesses, local govenment, agencies, organizations, and the faith community as we work together on behalf of young children and their families.
What We Do...
The Cleveland County Partnership for Children's Board of Directors and our many volunteers are committed to bringing together all sectors of the community to create a comprehensive early childhood system of services that address issues which affect young children in our county. Our main focus areas are: Early Childhood Education, Child Health and Safety, and Family Support/Parent Education, and Community Collaboration.
To ensure all children in Cleveland County enter kindergarten healthy and ready for success in school and life.
